I'm Lauren Hermann, M.S., CCC-SLP

I'm a copywriter, author, published researcher, and owner of a small healthcare copywriting agency: The Copy Clinicians.

☝ But before I was all of those things, I was a practicing medical speech-language pathologist...and I loved it!

I geeked out over investigating new patient cases, problem-solving, and designing a plan of care. This was what I wanted to do until retirement.

Right before the pandemic shut the world down, my husband and I moved to a small town in central Pennsylvania. NO ONE was hiring. I had a few private clients to hold me over, but nothing substantial.

Enter crisis mode...

That's when I grabbed my journal and started to brainstorm ways I can work full-time from anywhere in the world. After publishing But My Speech is Fine! (a book that markets our very misunderstood field), it dawned on me.
